Our plane was delayed, it was night time and freezing cold and having never been to Melbourne airport before, we had no idea where to meet the shuttle bus! Within minutes of alerting East Coast Rentals to our arrival, I received a call from Darren who asked if we needed help. He gave us excellent directions and advised he needed to drop some other customers off, but another shuttle would be along right behind him.
Only minutes later, a lovely lady (I don’t know her name but she told us she doesn’t follow the AFL - she must be the only Melbournian not to!) arrived, even though we were still not quite in the right place, and welcomed us aboard. She was friendly, reassuring that we weren’t a bother, and easily engaged us in conversation. We were waiting for another customer who was very stressed and upset as her plane had been delayed much more than ours, and she and her husband had a 17 month old baby. The lovely driver was welcoming, friendly and immediately offered to hold the baby whilst the mother caught her breath! The driver was just lovely.
When we arrived at the office to pick the car up, it was a smooth and easy process. The staff in the office were also friendly and accommodating. All this despite being 10.45pm and the office was supposed to close at 10pm.
Overall, very satisfied and highly recommended. Especially our driver - she is an asset to your team.
