Friendly efficient staff.

The service and booking process was easy, I called earlier in the week to ask about the LDW extra cost for my hire and the person I spoke with seemed very confused by my question, asked for a booking number, I explained I’d booked via Booking.com and could they find it, which he couldn’t. I asked to be put through to the branch (Newcastle) and when I got through my question was resolved within a few minutes.

The pick up experience was ok, the service and handover was great and easy. The only issue was the car was not clean, it looked like it needed a vac inside and it smelled. The windscreen wipers were also pretty bad. Otherwise car was great.and drove well.

I found your staff at Newcastle were very friendly, efficient and courteous. Overall the online and face to face experience was fast and efficient. Thank you very much. Cheers

Prompt, polite, efficient service at all times

Being my first time booking with Eastcoast Car rentals Newcastle, I want to share how very impressed I am with the service I received. From the ease of booking, location and access to the great customer service.
On arrival, I was instantly greeted. The car I had hired was moved whilst I was providing my details for the car hire and positioned so I could walk out of the office and drive straight out.
After completing the admin side (no hidden extra costs either) of the booking, a gentleman was by the car to provide a handover of the vehicle.
I’ve hired a few cars in my time, never have I received a handover before like this. Returning the car, I was instantly greeted again to hand the car back.
The hire process from start to finish was smooth and easy. The staff are professional and a credit to the organisation. I highly recommend Eastcoast Car Rentals and thank the team for the great service I received.
